Zukkin (Rick) and AbF250 (Terry) made it down for the weekend of quadding in the Kootenays. Couple of good guys, and good riders too! Terry is a hell of a rider to make it everywhere we did even though he was riding a 2wd Warrior! [36] [cheers]

Didn't get too many pics, we were too busy covering ground! Those flat land boys like to ride fast and hard! I think I took about a half a years life off the Kodiak 'trying' to keep up with them! :D The only time I got ahead of them enough for a pic was on my favourite slow and technical trails! [f]

We went up Sheep Creek on Saturday, toured all the mines, rode the best of the trails up there, did a minor trail fix to Ricks Kodiak after he played chicken with a stick. The stick won! Pics to come. Was a little cool, but a great day for riding! Looking forward to Sundays ride! [36]

First pic of Rick and Terry beside the "hairy bush" :) Daddy long legs hibernating in one of the mines!

Was a pleasure taking you guys on a couple of rides! I forgot how much fun the Jeep, ummm I mean Goat trail was to ride! Next time we're going up it instead of down! :D

More pics of Sundays ride, up Erie creek over Stewart Pass to the Highway outside of Ymir, then up Porto-Rico road over Dominion mountain, down the Jeep trail to Erie creek. Made a little detour up to Grady lake, always liked that short trail up through the trees.

We won't mention anybody flipping their quad, ok Terry! [f] [15] How's the knee AND ankle doing? :D

Stewart Pass summit. Not much for elevation, but a sweet trail!

Little sketchy bridge which bypassed running the highway for a 1/4mile or so.

30790

Huckleberry Hut. Guess what grows in abundance around here! :D And the bear shit definitely showed it! A pile every 50' on the trail.

30791

Here the trail winds around Dominion mountain. The trail is fairly flat, but the dropoff beside it is a bit intimidating!

Dominion mountain and the trail along the bottom

Going through the saddle on the "Jeep Trail" which Rick soon after renamed the "Goat Trail" :D Flatlanders.[f]

Playing on the tailings pile at the Second Relief mine.

30795

Terry took a little tumble after a jump gone bad, but flipped his quad back on the wheels before I could get my camera out! [15]
30796

Skidmark where his front bumper dug in.

30799

Trail up to Grady lake through the trees.

Definately had a good time! Thanks again Kevin for showing us around.
Its actually my foot that is hurting, still! My knee feels ok, but now my left shoulder is sore. I must have landed on it somehow!
