No way can I recommend Boyd's.
A couple of years ago, I took my Blazer there...ICBC claim too.

It wasn't a big repair....but EVERY SINGLE aspect of the repair had something wrong with it.
Required: New fender, lower valance panel, fan shroud, tie rod.

When I went to pick up the truck........
Fan shroud not replaced....busted-up one was still in place.
No body-side mouldings on the fender.
No rubber stops in the new fender to stop the hood from vibrating.
Windshield wipers were not even close to even.
Steering wheel was almost 90 degrees off-center.

I know it's all small details.....but that's the point. It was a simple re & re job. Pull the wipers off to be able to pull the upper cowl panel off to be able to pull the fender off. How do you not bother putting the rubber cushions back in the new fender? Can you not see when one wiper is level with the bottom of the windshield and the other is half-way up the windshield? Can you not tell the steering wheel is 90 degrees off when you moved my truck out of the shop?

With that kind of care and attention to detail, what are you doing with the big repairs that actually may impact on future safety of the vehicle????

often if you call and ask about how to repair something without telling them you have a claim (ie. how to pull off door pannel to repair door lock) and they are helpfull and take their time they will be a quality body shop. If they seam annoyed and give you a bullshit line then you know to avoid them.

Prestige Collision is the place to go. My dad owned it up untill a few years ago back when it was called Rudys Auto Collison and then he sold it to his painter. They do great work, my monte carlo is in there right now on some icbc claim work.

most shops are a 2 week wait. I still have a claim in on my tire for the son-of-a-bitch that decided to come into my lane and then keep driving.

Jason is a good guy, he keeps customers happy. Todd is good too (prestige) hes a friend of a friend.
