Can anyone tell me which vacuum lines go where ( colour) from the transfercase and the front diff shift motor ? Mine were all cut when I bought my Jeep. (89 YJ) and I have installed a 350/350 with a Novak adapter. Hope to have running soon.

Can't help you on the colours right now, but why not put a cable actuator for the front diff in? Then you know when it's engaged!

Besides, the D30 will probably not last long with a SBC behind it! Cool project though, now you need a D60/14 combo! Let's see some pics.

I will try to post some pics when closer to finished. I had a CJ2A with a 283+power steering many years ago. This should be at least as much fun. I have lots to learn about the latest stuff to use.

:) Thanks, I will do some chasing, that mechanical lock seems like the way to go. I was just hoping to patch up the stock lines till I can get this thing running. I can plug all lines for now, and work on the vacuum side after the motor is broke in. I have to break in the cam etc, as the 350 is all new. Just trying to hook up throttle and kick down now, have to hook up radiator and distributor ( mallory unilite) Getting close to d-day now.[cheers]
