I'm looking now for a set of tires, mainly for the spring time when my truck is running well enough and I've worked all the gremlins out of it. I'd like something in the 33" variety and a little on the skinnier side kinda like a 10.5 or so. I happened upon Super Swamper LTB's in a 34x10.5x15 for about 175 bucks each. Anyone used these tires before or are using them currently? Opinions? Are they decent or should I spend my hard earned tire bucks somewhere else? The Truck they are going on is a Trail Rig, not going to see very many road Km's. Anyone else have any ideas on a tire that would work well if these suck total ass? Thanks

I agree it's a great tire but you really don't want an oddball sized tire cause if you ever need a spare or you wreck one it may take forever to get it replaced just some advice from an old tire guy[cheers]

I got 31-11.50-15 LTBs on my CJ. They work great off road, and look good, but road manner, while not being horrible, are irritating at times. They are loud.

Well, I'd have to get 5, what kind of potato head runs around with a tiny spare on a 4x4!??!![31] I'm not concerned with road noise, I actually like sounding like a hornet's nest flying down the road! Thanks for the info on it, I had a buddy tell me that they were cheap Indian rubber or something... dunno. Your help is appreciated!![36]

I looked that shit up, after I put the bug in my own head here's the deal :
When the LTB came out in 2002 they were originally made in India but the peeps in India fuxxored them up so Interco changed production to Mexico. Mexico couldn't keep up with the demand so they started to produce some of them in Louisianna to meet demand until Mexico could get it together and pump them out. I think that Indian rubber thing was a old problem

I've got LTB's on my Sami, they work great off road, not so good on pavement.

My only negative on them is the Sami isn't heavy enuf for them,no real sidewall flex till your down about 3-5 psi, overall I'm pretty happy with them,
if it was a dd I would have gotten radials but these suit my needs.[cheers]
