Ok people I'm on the fence here about what tire to run, he's my problem. As most of you know I'm a bogger guy (see sig line) So I was thinking of running the 40" boggers with the stazworks beadlocks, or I can get a good used set of 42" swamper and run a hummer beadlock. I'm just not sure which way to go so I need some in put and no bullshit[cheers]

boggers, specially since you've run them before, you'll know what to expect.

try the swampers, then you can see which you perfer. You will get your money back out of them if you sell them before they are dead and then your opinion on boggers will be validated.Just my 2 cents.

Your gona need a tall tire in order to keep engines in that new rig. Heres some engine rpms at 80 km. 40" 3200rpm, 44" 2900 rpm 52"[36] 2400 rpm. You'ld be float the valves on that poor old 400 just trying to do the speed limit. Since its probablt not going to be your DD, I would go with the 44 Boggers.

those diffs are strong but not that strong. 44's would probably break them.

my vote is for tsl's unless all you run is mud than i would vote for agricultural tires

once you've had boggers you'll never be happy if you go back to swampers

What are the weak links, and can they be fixed?

the only part that i have ever seen break is the portal boxes but due to lack of maintanance. i would guess the knokle u joints would be the next weak link. using correct offset rims would also put stress on the wheel bearings and kingpins.
