I have No A/C, no mech fan, and I'm tired of blowing alternators... Thought I saw a thread to do this before, but I'm not sure.

So, if this is stock:

I'd like to go to something like this:

Or

I'm not sure if I should keep the idler or not.

Alternativly, I wanted to use the YJ V-belt setup. I have a v-belt PS pump and Alt already. However, I'd need some new pullies and a water pump...

Thoughts?

good idea but you should keep the idler alot easier to change out a belt if you have to. your number plan looks good lots of good coverage, but have to loosen up something to change out belt.

good luck with this[cheers]

The power steering pump is the tensioner...
