Ok heres the deal

We just installed a new alternator, new battery, dist cap, and rotor. We had to do this because of the problems I had this weekend at Davis. Battery and alternator died while we were there.

We just started the truck and the AT Temp, Brake, and Charge lights came on and started to flash, then went constant, then started to flash etc. But when I put my headlights on the lights turn off.

WTF!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!

If your mechanic can't figure it out take it to John's Electrical in New West. I've taken my truck there a couple of times for electrical problems and he had it fixed within an hour. [cheers]

Got her all fixed up. I guess the new alternator we put in was faulty too. She seems to be running fine now.

Thanks for the help!!!

Glad you got it fixed...buddy of mine needed an alternator in Cache Creek, went to Lordco and they sold him a core someone had returned. It was an honest mistake and they made it up to him but you never know eh?[cheers]
