IFS (toyota) is alot stronger than people give it credit for. Every internet group has develops their own ideas which get out of hand

for example the 3.0 being a bad motor is complete false and ifs being weak to a point where its impractical to wheel is false. everything has their limits of course, ie keep the 3.0 under 3500rpm and 33" tires on ifs.

that being said why the hell do you need 39" tires on a toyota[16] anything bigger than 35's on a yota is just showing off!

:D boy im gonna catch heat for this post already so i may as well say it...

The guy prolly wheels with Slacker, he used to own toyota in the '80s and is such a skilled driver, he has never broken a part.

chevy 350 is only 225...

Depends on the year and vehicle, same with Ferd. Less power breaks less shit though, so I guess smogger mills are good in one sense...I'm quite happy having to wheel in 4-low so long as I'm not sacrificing axles every trip out.

whats wrong with IFS?
isn't it basicly just 2 more driveshafts?

IFS [36]

its more than just 2 more driveshafts. its more of things that will break like 2 more cv's, wimpy tierods etc etc. the toy IFS setup is as good as it gets though...and very capable in proper hands...and you dont need much lift to stuff 33's in there either.

that guy with 39's on his yota is just all for show...and mud. both of which are [35]
