a couple of buddys of mine have done this swap. one of them used an 8.8 and a dana 44 out of a 70s ford. the other used a passenger drop 10 bolt and a 12 bolt rear and did a transfercase swap. from looking at it it looks fairly simple. if you want me to ill PM you their emails you can talk to them on msn or what not about it

Still working on mine, 98 s10 ZR2, corp 10 front with 4 link and ranger coils. Lots of work.... seems to be never ending project, but fun none the less. A friend of mine did a swap on a '95 jimmy aswell using a Tj front axle. Anyways, any questions just give me a shout.

still in the process on mine. toy axles new motor trans tranny. go with toy axles and a new t-case stronger than a d-30. your also gonna have to carry 2 spares if your keeping the s10 rear diff

Yah right now i have a dana 44 front but i need to completely build the axle its just the housing. its sooo $$ and hard to find parts for this axle. i think im just gona go dana 30 w/4:10's but even still its kinda hard to find one all together with brakes/steering linkages and the whole shibang!

ask dave should the close to the same thing. sas is a sas if you ask me. oh and coils would be badass, flex more better than leafs

but doing coils would be 10x harder to custom in! i think to start im gona do leafs, unless someone could show me an easier way to put coils in.

hopefully you wait for the axle before you weld the brackets in. it would be dumb to weld it in the find you have the wrong width. or maybe you ave the mesurments? god luck.
