A little bored so checked out the tubs:D
Ill get a lift later :o . Need to scrap the rust off the bottom first.
Road still easy
A bit of a mess[16] . Quick clean up and repair first

reconnected the hoses (Red Green style)

Ceder tub sides rotten. Holes leaking water everywhere
Removed broken glass out of the catch basin. A little disappointed!!
After a soak, hit the road with the garbage. All in all the garbage was
not to bad. I"ve seen it a lot worse.
Time to scrap more rust off

A little sight seeing on the way back.

I agree that the road is way too tame. I was up there last month and there were a bunch of stockers there. It's just a long road with bumps and dips so you can't even go fast. If I'm gonna go that slow, it might as well be challenging!! The area was clean and the tubs were fine on the Aug long weekend. I camped at the site where your truck is parked by the river. Great spot, but the mosquitos were horible at night!!

We love that spot, last month when we were there, we thought about perhaps trying to organize a revitalization run to the tubs, the decking is really getting rotted in some spots and it's only a matter of time before someone goes right through it. I've got a couple bundles of shingles that I was planning on tacking down along the catwalk and what not as well as a bunch of scrub brushes and environmentally friendly soap. Anbody else think this sounds like a good idea?

totally make it harder to get to. Driving 50 or however many km's of gravel.... in 2wd..... isnt all the much fun........ but say the last 10kms's or so of some hardcore wheeling ..... well now that sounds like fun....
