i got an 85 toy pickup tha needs a head gasket just wondering how hard and about how long it takes its got the 22re in it
i just bought the truck with a solid frame and a rust free cab for $600
i think thats a good deal what u guys think????

thats a really good deal. head gasket isnt that bad if you have basic tools (sockets, wrenches, etc. )
Might as well do the timing chain and sprockets/ guides too since you have to take all that off at the same time anyway.
it will take most of a full day. drop the exhaust side, and the intake side, and the oilpan. then all the timing chain stuff.
Its all in the haynes or chilton manuals

get the complete gasket kit; comes with headgasket, exhaust gasket, intake gasket and all the little ones for the rest of the motor.
