I have a Dana 35 TTB from a '91 ranger 4.0L

has:
3:73 gears
axles
beams
brakes
control arms

I just don't have the hubs.
I want $100 for it all.

I ran a dana 35 with a 5.0 and 35s and 4.10's and didnt have a problem. Just gotta know you limits and when to eas off. But either an eb 44 or go all the way and put a 60 in. Got mine in in a week and that included fabbing the spring mounts shackles etc. I went leafs. gtood luck[36]

its all straight swap but check your gears in the rear to match up because ive seen quite a few 84 b-2s with 3.45s and are you still runnin the 2.8? or have you gone bigger?

i got 4.56 in both
still stock ( rebuilt ) 2.8
As long as its solid straight across and not some stupid 3 piece axle, what a load of crap. i'd like to put leafs in too,. i want to improve my flex. Money's not all that much of a concern, but i am pretty stupid though.

If you leave it open a D35 should last, 35s not much weaker then a 44 but the solid axle would be a HUGE improvement so if you got the time and flow then go with a sas.

TTB?
TLE?
SAS?
D35?
i'd eventually like to go with a manual locker, i'd definatly like something stronger then stock, what if i stuck a rear BII axle in the front>? would that be stronger?
What do i gotta weld? Will that fix my ujoint problem, Every damn time i take it out i bust a U Joint. actually its always the front passenger side. Dunno.

d35's ar eknow for bearing issues

they are to close together...

and ya ttb can be made solid but why?

okay so whats the next step up from a d35? a 44? and that could handle a locker no problem with my 4.56 and 33 bfg's ? does this mean i have to learn how to weld?

I have seen a Jeep Cherokee Dana 30 solid axle swapped into a Bronco II. Worked very well I might add. same width and bolt pattern for the wheels too :)

hey this might sound stupid but if I were you, I'll just leave the truck the way it is. sell it and get yourself a 4 runner. you can put and axle in there and then everything else will break in no particular order. if you still want to fix it up then in the zone probably has the most expertise and experience with that vehicle.

All right " In The Zone " My truck is in your hands, tell me what to do and i'll do it.
The rear is good i got 4.56 w/ locker on 33"s

What the problem is??

u aske dwhat the easiest fix is well

tehn go with the d35 ttb will basically bolt in....

will be stronger just remember to do your bearing maitenince

as for the rear your 7.5 is a weak spindly axle it will hold up to the 33"s

but any aggressive tread patterrn will find ther weakness quick

axles and r&p

I swaped out the stcok crap for better stock crap

full width 8.8 with detroit
the front i modified and run fullwidth d44ttb

i see air time and run my shit hard i
still have yet to kill any thing....

you can pick up a ttb 35 from a wrecker or such for cheap

goood luck...[cheers]
