a couple weeks ago went up to davis and on the way into davis i noticed a loss in power and at first i thought it might of been my propain mixer screwing up but then on the way out it got worse to the point it was farting through the mixer so i limped her home and done a compression check the next day to find out there was no compression in 1 and 2 so i ripped it apart to find

my bad the head gasket blew between 1 and 2 i guess ive been working on to many chevies lately and i forgot to mension while tearing it down the intake bolts were hand tight and only three bolts per head were over 50 foot lbs of torque so it would explain why it was gutless compaired to my old 302 in my old b-2 especially since i miked the cylinders are 4.000-4.004 stock and these ones are 4.0338=.030 bore and flat tops(10.5-1) and close chamber heads ill check the cc's tomorrow on the one i havent put back on and being properly torqued down(112 foot lbs) and the intake will be torqued properly and the propain being cleaned and serviced and adjusted(opening up the inlet valve for more flow).
cant wait to see how she is going to run :D
