So here's the deal I have a dana 70 in the rear of my 9o diesel and I've seen articles about putting rear discs on the Dana 60 trucks and am wondering if the same can be done with my 70??
Also what do you recommend for a lift kit (brand) for the 89-93 cummins trucks (6" ish) that give's a softer ride that's good for long trips off-road.All i've found is the skyjacker softride kit...[cheers]
I did a weld on caliper bracket on mine
same as any other disc conversion
GreatLakesOffroad sells kits, I cannot build them for what he sells them

They sell them on ebay under the search phrase Dana 60. I've heard alot of bad things about these particular ones on ebay, be prepared to "make them fit" to your application. Lots of extra grinding might be involved to make them work.

she's a keeper!
kits i found off google:
http://www.egrbrakes.com/index-main.htm go dodge ram, and its under there.
gotta love the cummins first gens. For 5k, you could do a fuel pin, injectors, intercool it, turbo swap, nv4500 swap.. just to start..
edit- shouldnt the rear diff be a dana 80 since its a manual, or did that start in 94?
those guys are the most overprices asshats around.
please do not buy from them
actually never heard of egr but theother 2 are insanely priced
greatlakes is the man, look him up on pirate4x4.com

Greatlakes is the guy on Ebay. Alot of people have had trouble with his brackets for the Dodge Dana 60's. Mostly grinding though. I guess that you can't do much more than that considering what they are.

hey torch I have the same diff as you do and i also am going to disc brakes. Dan at btf is looking into making some dom spacers to make his d60 brackets work with 91 3/4 2wd suburban front brake setup. however it works out I will keep you posted.
