hey all i am wanting to do a spring over on my 92 yj but i heard that the axel wrap is bad when you do this. Is there any other problems with doing this. Also how much lift do you actually get?. The Jeep already has a 2 inch spring lift in it. What other things do i have to so besides longer shocks and lines and new blocks and U bolts and maybe a longer driveshaft?

ladder bar will stop axle wrap. id plan a SYE in. will get like 5.5" plus your 2 " springs. and the drag link will hit the springs so gotta do somthing with steering

axle wrap and steering become the big issue with a spring over. shackle only lift fucks up your driveline and allignment angles. by the time your done fixing the problems you create with a spring over it would have been cheaper to put a good lift kit into it. not to mention better ride quality, safer on the street, and oh yah dot approved.

I have been looking and i think i will save my pennies and get the rubicon 4.5" and then that should be good for 33's.

spring over is good on a budget, but i got the 4'' springs and i gaurentee its way better, SPOA just flexes better then some kits out there.
