how was the 22re for power what was done to the motor
08-16-2006, 08:12 PM
for this build ... 22RE was WAY underpowered .. this engine will have 400HP compared to the mier 128 from the built 22re .. it pittons and dosent even compare to this engine . thats why I pulled the 22re .
I think i'm good for power now .. but if need be , I can do a header and T70 turbo for a net of 500~550 HP (bolt on)
just need to get the frame on the go .

so I decided to let to garage go today . :(
my Son just came back from visiting his mom over the summer holidays . As a single dad , I thought it more important to spend my evenings and weekends with him . The Truck is going to have to wait .

get your son to help you with the truck

hes 11 .... although a great little tech already (he's been in the shop since he was 2) I fear the long hours , and heavy work load , would be a bit much for him .
dont get me wrong ... its gonna happen .. just not at this time .
