Ok so my buddy can't go camping till Oct 20. Why you ask....He was a bad boy! [stoned] He was up at Davis with me this weekend for a day trip only and really enjoyed it there. He would like to go back, but he's not sure how the area is and would it be worth it.

What is the area usually like around that time???

What's Clear Creek like these days? I hear the cabin's gone and the trail is 2wd territory. We used to spend new years up there, sit in the tubs an' watch the snow fall, sometimes see the northern lights, smoke the same.

My first winter camping trip was "the spudspudspudspudspud run"... Was a great time, and yeah, was cold, but Dean kept the bon fire roaring.. Was one of the best camping trips I've ever been on. (minus the part about sleeping on the frozen ground cause i forgot to pack a bed roll..[27] ) Looking forward to more winter camping[36] [36] [36] [36]
Davis would be cool in the winter.

heard from reuben that the trails harder then last time we were up there(april) but any 4x4 can make it. I can do it in 2wd.
