They're total shit.
Okay, it depends what you want to do.
Rust issues - Biggy. Water/salt will sit in the uniframe rails and rust them out. Also, the windshilds, doors, windows, back cab window, all like to leak so the floors tend to be a bit of a mess. The wheel wells/quater panels for the box also tend to take it quite bad, as they don't drain right. This is NOT an easy fix. Also, inside the cab, just behind the doors, water sometimes pools and rusts the cab from the inside out.
If the back cab window is broken... They're discontinued.
If ANY of the comanche specific parts are wrecked (gas tank, rear driveshaft, tailights, box, etc) you will have a VERY hard time finding them.
Otherwise it's just like shopping for a cherokee. Avoid the 2.8L V6. The renix and HO 4.0 are both strong and reliable. The 2.5 lacks any balls at all, but some people swing that way... And the turbo diesel is crazy rare, has no power, but is damn cool.
Oh, and visit www.comancheclub.com if you want to get hardcore into the MJ scene....
