first truck is mine, they were a pain inthe ass to make, but i have pictures from the start of the project to the finish if you want, i used 16 gauge for the pieces, i think i cut the door perfectly, too much more would let too much shit inside the cab and too less would hinder vision on the trail, and you know when you go through mud and have your windows up? well now it doesnt matter how muddy it is you can always see the trail cus there nothing for the mud to get stuck to, i also dont think i would want to wheel without doors either

08-03-2006, 06:34 PM
hahaha i cut mine lower than that, to the fist body line

they are soo nice when its hot out, the air flows through the cab soo fast. yea the water off of my boggers flys ahead of me and hits the windshield but i dont seem to get wet while im driving, when i stop the water seems to come in but thats it

no , but all the stock hardware goes into them .

Half doors are sweet I'll admit, but I just hate having to take doors off and on again. One thing I do have to know is did you make that console in your truck G-rizzle? I need something like that for my truck because right now I just have this big empty space between the buckets. The original bench was taken out and SR-5 seats were swapped in.

where did you get those window clamp on door covers?? did you have them made up?? they look pretty sweet

those silver ones arnt mint, just the first two pics are of my truck, and ditch, i just made that console out of wood, it was easy, just make a template of what you want and make it wide enough so it will be squeezed between the seats, that way you dont have to bolt it to anything

Nice seats Greg, that truck is really starting to look cool. Did you get the new front springs for your truck yet?

3 of my buddies have done them for their rigs this year, didnt seem to hard to make, i welded one of my buddies doors, i think the hardest part was finding some spare doors
