With our exchange rate, its cheapest to get them direct from longfield. Have them shipped to a broker just across the boarder (free shipping within the US) and go pick them up yourself. Thats what I did. Way cheaper even than some of the group buys I saw posted up here.

I usually get my stuff sent to Ship Happens in sumas then go pick it up. They charge $4 per package and then you bring it across the border yourself. Since the parts are made in the USA you only need to pay GST & PST at the border.

unless he's lowered his prices a lot it still cheaper to go direct. I beleive he wanted $875cad for a set

but I got more time than $$$ and its not really much hassle. Gotta go pick them up from somewhere. TRDV or sumas isn't much different

did you order the hub gears as well?

Big_Ern

sweet[36][36][36]

you're gonna love them

don't forget to order some ARP hub studs as well. Also the chromo hub gear is a good investment to protect the splines of your longs from getting stripped if/when the hub gear breaks.

cause if u don't get the hub gears and strip your splines it's not covered by long.

yea but how many guys have broken the hub gears? i thought it was the guys running 40's, extra cases and on the moab style rock.

true, I just figured it was good insurance since the longs aren't warrentied if you stock hub gear cracks and strips the splines off it.

plus I like to do stupid stuff and tend to break shit a lot:D

but the hub studs are a must as they become the next weaklink after upgrading the birfs. Everyone I have talked to who got longs sheared off all thier hub studs & dowel pins shortly after installing the longs.

What gear's/tire's you plan on runnin? You might wanna stock up on spare gear sets or get them treated as well. I ripped apart a 456 set last time out pretty good. But I had 38.5" boggers on there so you might be ok if your around the 36ish size. You need the chromo ARP steering knuckle studs too, trust me it's not fun when those snap.
