View Full Version : Well I bought a new truck!!!

Yeo a 1980 International Scout II with SOA 4 spd, 345 v-8, sittin on 35 mud kings!!! All I need to do is throw my rear diff in her (I hope the gears are the same!) and get it to pass airscare!![2b] I am So lookin forward to hgittin the trails as soon as I can!! I will post pics after the weekend!!

Thanks for the offer but it is at a buddies place in white rock and I will probably just do the work there!! I just have to find my tools I think I left them at my bosses(I hope!!) either that or someone stole them[27] out of my truck[27] [27] [27]

sweet its spring over, my old neighbour had one exactly the sae but with a 318 bored out and it had some pretty good power

they didn't build scouts to last either notice how theres very few decent examples around on the rainy west coast

From the looks of some of the photos, that is common problem with a lot of trucks on the rainy west coast. Here on the dry southern east coast the problem is more that folks get tired of trying to keep there stuff running after 25-30 years [27] so they move on to something else. I'm just glad there are still some of us hardcores around that appreciate old sheet metal. [cheers]
