View Full Version : All Pro or Marlin front leafs?

I am trying to pick between the all pro 6" leafs, or the marlin 5" leafs. I have been reading and it seems like these two will allow for the most suspension articulation. Anyone have any thoughts on which to go with?

i personally prefer skyjacker springs.

Yeah I'd say go with the 6" as they will settle a little after some use.

ya trail gear has great prices.
Marlin you get what you pay for as they are made in the usa with us steel (assuming they still make them over here, altho I heard rumors that they were going to be selling 2 versions: usa & overseas)
Sky-manufacturing also just started producing a set of front toy springs that are supposed to be very good (might not be on the website yet, so call them for more info)
anything from the companies mentioned in the thread (except skyjacker) will give you the best flex & ride as they were designed by companies geared towards rock crawling.
I doubt you will need the 6" lift, so keep it low as possible. 36's should fit nicely with 4" leafs.

i am going to be buying the trail gear 5" ones, they move the axle 2" forward for better d-shaft angle and approach angle, although you will then need highsteer then also, 5' is plently on a toyota, 4" is prob the best, i fit 35x14 boggers with about 3" of lift
