I'm looking to rig up an outdoor shower, maybe off the side of the camper. Has anybody fabricated or purchased such a device? Details, pictures and links all appreciated. [cheers]

Oh, and just to get it out of the way, I'm not looking for a golden shower [!] [49].

What are you wanting to do ?

Run it off the inside hot water tank?

Or go completly of outside water source etc ?

Lots of different ways to do it !

Bruce, the camper is an old Vanguard, but new to us. We haven't tested the lines yet and there is no hot water tank.

My thought was to rig one up using an outside water source, whether it be a body of water or a vessel of some kind. Some places we go have a water source and some do not, so we'd be hauling our own.

I did run Kev's setup past my hubby and he's got some ideas of his own. I'm open to hearing other ideas too! [cheers]

The coil for under the hood that Kev linked to is the way to go then http://www.funinbc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63948&highlight=coils (http://www.funinbc.com/forum/showthread.php?t=63948&highlight=coils)

It gets mounted into the heater core lines and they work awesome !

So then you can easily stop in at any water source --a lake ,creek or 5 gallon bucket and then have shower temp water commin out !

You will need a 12 volt rv pump like a sureflow 2088 with the pressure switch !

Youlle love it !
