anyone know of a stock Driveshaft that is approx. 35"(I need 35 1/4") from U-joint to U-joint center? its for a front shaft so both ujoints get the ubolts on them to fasten them.

if somone could tell me of one that'd be awsome will save me about $50 [41]

find one too long and cut a bit out. its just a front shaft so it doen't have to be perfectly balanced.

or build on out of square tubing

well I would NEVER have one custom made id always goto the junkyard and pull on from an existing truck then have it shortened for $40

IIRC, the front shaft from an XJ/MJ with the 4.0 and AW4 (auto) tranny should be a hair shy of 36"...

But, that's a maybe.

If you want, I'll check one of mine tonight...

that would be awsome... because of the IFS on my truck I wont need as much spline as the XJ will so that should work

It's actually sitting at about 32", I was getting confused by my other one.

It's at pretty near full compression though. However, I don't think you could pull it quite that far apart...

maybe ill do the Dana35 swap then use that shaft cause it would be about the right length then
