I'm heading to merrit this weekend and i don't want to get a vi. i heard you get around the toll both on the coke by the falls lake exit, just wondering if anybody has a link to forestry map or directions?

going from the van side
turn off at falls lake
go under the tunnel and to the end of the small paved road
continue on the main gravel road (the one on the other side of the creek)
follow this road up, over, over and down the ridge. about 15 min.
meet up with another main gravel road, cross the small brige, a few hundred meters and youre back on pavement.
follow it back to the hiway

could a stock 2wd make this journey. or is it more of a trail than a road.

ive done it in a k-car in january once:D

i was there last week hiking. its in good shape. a civic could do it. theres a couple rockyish spots where you have to pay attention but thats about it.

if your into a little hiking; falls like is a 1km easy (as in sandals) walk. its a little chilly, but makes for a great little swim
