i just lifted my 91 yj with a 4 '' susp did it with my buddy bert and it took a weekend. it was not to hard but now i have a problem and i hope some one can help i have some vibriation round 2-3 rpm in gears 3 4 5 it kind of feels like drive shaft but not sure. i do know the floor shakes and so does the change in my ashtray and it only happens under excel and decell .

and ideas ???????????

ps the drive shaft angle is min because of tcase drop kit
also the new leafs sit nice in the perch

give it a week for the ass end to drop a bit and then see ---were the ujoints new in the driveshafts? coule be worn enough to cause vibration now that they are runnin at different angles !


Might have to shim the rear end up a bit !

Your supposed to in theory run your ujoints at the same angles
IE ---the angle comming out of your slip yoke on the transfer case and the angle commin out of your pumkin are supposed to match ! Look at that first ---I thats not possible to match those angles try rotating your housing up on the rear end so it runs straight and no angle on the shaft !---Just ne warned that you may end up with bearing problems as with the diff rotated upwards the uppper bearing on your pinion wont get enough oil and you ont get the normal life expecatnacy out of it !

drive line angles are critical. drop by my shop some time and i'll measure them for you and let you know what should be done.
