I bought a 81 toyota pickup, thinking about changing out the six fucking FOX shocks that were originally in there. But I am wondering if for the weight factor for the engine, if I change to single Procomp es3000 shocks could it hold the mass of a 305? Or should I put 2 of the better FOX shocks on each side (2 on each corner)? This is for the front.

Any suggestions? [27]

wouldnt it be cheaper just to reuse your shocks you have

I am not sure, do you know where you can get FOX shocks rebuilt? and how much? I am not sure of the condition of them. I havent got in there to take a good look yet.

I talked it over with her a bit last night and I think we have a plan for the shocks. 4 upfront and 2 in the rear. Take the 10, yes you heard me right, 10 shocks off and find which ones are best. Rebuild them if we have to. Have you found that diff yet Owen?

ooh ooh I do! Pick me Pick me! I am still debating over t he tire situation though! I don't know whether to keep the 35" mud kings that are on there or look for soem superswampers like Trav's. Everything on this truck is a little overkill!!

put it this way, if you don't have duals up front the springs won't last.
