i want to weld my rear spiders today does any body have a clue how this is done.i never attempted this befor i just dont want to weld the wrong shit together.thanx

weld the corners of the spiders ie. where they touch each other in all 4 corners bothsides and dont be shy with the weld ....

Why ?

I weld every thing in sight have no problems, I pre heat the shit out of them before welding ,use 7018 rod and lots of heat and burn it all in hard then let it cool slow,usually takes about 15 to 20 rods and then sometimes I mig the shit out of it after useing stick just to fill everything up nice.

i had mine crack apart ... so torched what was left of the spiders out and was able to reuse it w different spiders on my 14 bolt, although we used way more on the second one filled that fucker up and never had another prob ... im sure there are mant different way's to do everything ... [cheers]

92 ranger 8' lift and a bunch of off road shit from bumper 2 bumper
