85 4runner
left front signal not working,back flashes fast, thought it was a blown bulb.
replaced bulb and checked fuses and the same things happening.If it was a relay
would'nt that screw up the back left side to.seen a few other toyotas that seem
to have the same or similar problems, any help appreciated.

checkthe bulb again , or check to make sure the contacts not corroded

check all wires too. happened to me before, wires were hooped and check other bulbs too.

you have a ground problem ...

mine did the same thing last week, turned out the conector had a broken wire

and if the frame is anything like a trucks its underneath the rear tire carrier crossmember or wait its on the top of the crossmember

when it flashes fast, it's usually another burnt bulb in the system.

but it is likely a bulb ground near the bulb in question. use a test light to check it out.

use a volt meter or a test light makes it a lot easier to find the problem

mine did the same after dave pulled out in front of me and we had to winch hte bumper back out......

I've replaced the turn signal housing but that dos'nt seem to be the problem.
Must be a shit ground,should be fun to find.
