WoooHoooo
Finally received the parts to do the repair on the front axle track bar mount.
Now I can drive the Bronco again without it shaking itself right off the road.
Then replace the body mounts a little exhaust work and we are good to go :D
As nasty as the old Ford is it has been brutal not having it to get out in the bushes with............. can't wait

Well...........track bar mount is fixed gooder :D
But.......I screwed up the threads on my tre
So... who knows what the thread is so I can get a chaser and fix it.........sure don't want to have to get a new tie rod at this time.
The tre is not replaceable by itself.......gotta do the whole rod:mad:

not sure just count your threads per inch on the tre and get the tap to fix the threaded tierod
07-08-2006, 03:07 PM
The tre is part of the tierod.....not a separate piece.
It's the threads on the ball joint that are fubar.......... don't ask:o
If I can't fix the ball joint I gotta replace the whole tie rod:mad:
I need the correct die to clean up the threads on the ball joint.
