slacker
06-28-2006, 04:32 PM
yep ... I just want the hinges though ... not the whole gate ..

(ya gotta cut them out because of shipping )
I use a skil saw with a metal disc .. takes 10 mins .

If ya wanna make some "beer money" .. see if you can pick up a few gates ..
I'll give ya $25 bone for every good set of hinges .

a little progress ... block is painted (I do have pics) , and I thought I'd throw in the oil pump drive shaft brarings .. WRONG ... installed them and there was absolutly NO way the the shaft would go in . I gots a problem .

There NOT Toy bearings .. there Altrom , from Lordco .. another waste of time , I talked to them about trying to get them for the weekend .. wow lots of help there ... I'm not in a panic or anything , and I dont think they'll work anyway ..but it would be nice to have some competant help ..

I have had good luck with Altrom's pieces over the years .. but I think I might have to go dealer on these . That sucks .. I had booked the weekend for this build , and now I cant ... It'll be a couple of days at least ..

just to let you know .. I spent 3 Hrs on these .. what a waste ....

generally speaking, the cam bearings are all different sized. the back one is the tightest and the first one is the looestest
