what kind of pressure should i be getting out of pump for 22r?
problem is- going up hills i got no power, bogging down like no fuel, motor with no load will rev to about 3300 then die down, just swithed coil, same thing happened, so thinking fuel pump???

did u check fuel pressure yet or want to know before u do it........and yup could be fuel filter...that should one of those cheap ones on the pass fender right???????

ya i just checked fuel filter and i can blow through it no problem

hmm sounds like fuel filter, but maybe distributor cp or rotor? my friends civic did that and stuttered bad til we changed the cap and rotor, then the bearing went in the distributor

going to check plugs, wires cap rotor tonight, and fuel pump pressure,
around 4-5 psi should be lots???

how steep is the hill that you're bogging out on?
fuel filters are cheap, like 5 bucks, and it's alot easier for you to blow through it than for the fuel pump to suck gas through it from 8 feet away. I spent a week swapping parts, dist, coil, etc from my buddies truck. Ended up being the fuel filter.

obviously your carbed use some carb cleaner and hit your jets and needle seats real well
could be your float out of adjustment if she is bogging at 3000 rpm
if it is only on hill climbs

i get in my truck today and it runs better than ever, i did switch my coil and it seem's to run better, thinking a msd coil now??
