so i picked up cavemans 82 yota, and needs a new rad eventually and choke needs to be fixed, but buddy have an 84 2wd with a good 22r excluding the block, so will the carb off his fit mine or did anything change in those 2 years. cause they are both 22r's so the parts should be swapable right?? [cheers]

as long as they;re both 22r's then pretty much everything should be interchangeable.

i've talked to some toyota mechanics and they said that the 84's were oddball motors so not everything is interchangeable, i can't remember exactly what was different though
