does anyone know what the diference is between the rear calipers of a 1980 trans am and a 1978 caddy?

hmm llright, i didnt know that. lots of ppl use caddy ones for rear disk conversions

i got a t a yesterday with rear disc and i have been wanting to convert the truck for a long time buut wanted a self adjusting caliper with a park brake and now i'm trying to figure out if these will be strong enough

probably the same same
get a lordco counter person to compare the part numbers
are the TA ones a left and right or both sides the same?
I grabbed big caddy calipers that were same both sides

i'm pretty sure ther is left and right. they are suposed to adjust every time you apply the park brake
