looking at getting a new truck , was looking at getting a SA toy pu but thinking I really liked the ride of the ifs, and the ADD was nice also .
I use mine for hunting/camping/exploring mostly , getting out when its -30 to lock the hubs sucks ass. and I remember the ride of my 81 chevpu...... Soooooooooo....

Is there away to make the SA trucks a better ride? yet still carry a full load in the box?? and not be a 12month 5grand project??

airbags? , runner coil rear axle? (thats alot of work) ....um ??

links???

My truck rides way better than my old IFS 4runner did. Good shocks and some nice soft flexy springs are the key.

I've had my truck loaded pretty good with camping gear and it didn't sag much... but I imagine a couple good sized deer would be heavier.

My rear leafs are from an f150, so they should be able to handle some wieght. I removed a leaf for better flex, but if you ran the full pack it would be able to carry more.

but if you're just gonna run 31s I would stick with ifs and get some decent shocks

I think those fs9000 adjustable ones would be nice.

but the trucks Iam lookin at/need dont come IFS so ..... I think the plan would be to soften up the frontend as much as possible.Longer leafs will always give a better ride right?

okay you can get the hilux pre 91 with a coil spring front(LN107) end instead of SA(LN106), very few but I see them . limited slip rear is also an option

That's 4Hummer on yotatech. He has a writeup on his website. His ex's brother rolled it, and that's how he fixed it.
