my gf steering box just started leaking the other day in her 91 pickup....it leaks p/s fluid out of the seal where the steering column shaft enters the box...if anyone has a spare one kickin around for a resonable price then pm me.thanks

oh yah, and bogealot, you can buy a rebuild kit for around $20 thru some guy in the states. Gonna be much cheaper than buying a new/used one as they're pretty valuable since everyone wants the IFS box for highsteer.

dude if you could find a good box for a reasonable price let everyone know cause i am sure some other folks really need one.

big erns got a line on rebuild kit for old boxes :)


I wonder how good those seals are ?

But I bet if you knew the sizes you could go to any hydraulics shop (or even PA) and find the right seals to rebuild it yourself. probably cost $10 at most

but ya i don't imagine a few o-rings and seals could be much more than $10 at ahydraulics shop. I know PA has rebuild kits for a lot of rams for just a couple bucks.
