Think i can squeeze 35's on my xj? i have a 4 inch lift and my fenders are cut.. i found a good deal on a pair of 35 muds so

If u put in bigger bumpstops and trim like crazy yah. Hope u dont have a dana35 in the back. Will break just looking at those tires. Oh and u might want to regear your diffs if u plan on driving it. I have 35s on mine with trimming the front and rear fenders and i am at about 7-8 inches of lift.

Yeah, uh, worry about the axles first. The lift is the easy part.
Oh, a HP30 won't hold 35s. I confirmed that in case you don't believe...

building a hp44 right now for mine. Grabbed a diff outa 76 f150 as it has weld on mounts not cast. Also for making the front d30 surviving, if u leave it open and dont abuse it too bad it will live. Most guys that i have known, had problems as soon as the put a locker or lsd in the front.

Yeah, that's what I did. Truetrac + 35s lasted all of two weeks.

They aren't large; it's just your preception of large is off.
