went with a buddy to some car auction yesterday in van....
thought we would check out the bypass, in a civic sportin all seasons of course:D
surprisingly we were the first set of tracks this year!
made almost to the summit comming from the kamloos side, then the snow was just too much for the pos.

it was in slurrey

forgot to mention that the bypass should be good to go for any 4x4. there was still a big patch of snow on the paved part of the falls lake road which would stop a car.

those were the only "4x4's" in the lot. both pieces of hack job junk. thought i d take some pics just for the fuck of it. we were actually lookin for a '98 cherokee.

and a pic of the bypass. thought everyone knew about it.

Like Liz said the Bypass isn't worth saving the $10, but it is a beautiful drive if you have the time. We can get to our cabin @ Missezula Lake from that road and we only have to touch pavement once to cross the highway [36]

we made two decent attampts at the snow, but it was getting dark and raining so we didnt want to push our luck.
its never about the 10 bucks, its about the adventure and break from the mind numbing asphalt. :D
