My six started makin a funny noise and missing like a bastard. dont know whats wrong with it, but when i toor the head off there was bits of metal in EVERY cyl:eek: not good. nothing in the oil pan. one of my rod caps is a little loose:confused:

Good Side, i just aquired a 87 f250 (same as mine only ext cab) woth a 460 and a C6. so im going to swap the motor and tranny asap, beat it for the summer, then swap the ext cab, shorten the box, and beat it some more[36]

My six will get torn apart, problem found, built up a little more, header etc., and dropped into a 2wd. might order the clifford head and go 60 over[36]

i;m goin from a straight six with 4 speed to a 460 with c6.

all depends on where everything is mounted. you won't know the length till its all in

if you have a chance give the 460 some compression, they are kinda doggish with the stock compression.
