Well for may long this year my buddies never made up their mind about wanting to camping or not, and I had already booked the weekend off work so my one buddy and I decided we were going on a mystery trip.

We had no agenda whatsoever, just a truck, canopy, beer, and a camera. And this is what happened.

Well my buddy go called into work at the last second on saterday night so we ended up leaving at 3:30 am and just started dring down the lougheed highway. Halfway up we decide that our mission was to vist Spuzzum.

Ok well we almost missed it had to due a uturn before we missed it and decided to check out spuzzum creak
14372

Apparrantly even spuzzum has homeless people

14373

Then just the first pic of the truck after crossing a really small creak

14371

Then while exploring, we found about a grand total of 8 houses maybe, a community centre and a cemetary
14376

Then we dedicded to check out a spuzzum logging road and happend to find ourselves the first wild life of the trip, and chased the bear down the road. we were closer but by the time we got the camera out it was farther away from us
14361

Ended up chasing it up the mountain into what looks like might be his den
14362

Further down the road we ran into mud slide, so it was time for a bit of wheeling. It doesn't look like much compared to alot of ther 4x4ing pics but it is more difficult the it looks and This is my daily driver, its pretty much stock so I had a great time wheeling the washout.
14374
14375

Then I gabbed a pic of my buddy by spuzzum unincoporated
14364

We then continued on to Hells gate
14367

Then while on the way to lyttin we saw some deer
14366

We then continued on to cashe creak , aschcroft and lillioet often stopping to go up side trails and logging roads. The scenery was amazing so many pictures that could have been taken but I think these two are amazing this is between lillouet and Pemberton

14368
14369

So by this point the truck has been running for about 12 hours now up and down windy roads so nearing the bottom of the road into pemberton the brakes finnally heated up enough to start to loose their functioning and I was forced to use the runeway lane. Stupid automatics and drivers in front of you making you use your breaks more then you want to. I've alwase wanted to go up one, but not of neccessity.
14370

We then ended up camping beside the river just after pemberton.
14365

And a breakfest shot

14363

We then continuted on home for what turned out to be a very relaxing, enjoyable weekend. I think we spent about $180 in fuel $100 on beer and $140 on food between the 2 of us in a matter of 40 hours.

I think we rolled into spuzzam at like 7is or somthing like that so I don't think anyone was up, so whe didn't have to worry about that. the funny part was that the one camping spot was full.

I've got up on a Sunday morning and went for a family drive, ended up in Kelowna, had a "Timmys" and drove back to Mission, 12 hr round trip, but worth it. [36]

oh ya. I haven't really met many people from the board yet. I know a few of them from before and i've said hi to a couple people but thats really about it.

i don't get out wheeling as much as i'd like because i'm so busy with work and school, but eventually i'll meet up with more people.
