wonderin if anyones got some good tips on how to get a little more power out of my cummins, ive already done the k&n aircleaner setup, ive heard about injecting propane, but is there anything else,i just want a little more cause the trailer i tow is a whopping 6700lbs empty. thanks any info would be appreciated.[cheers]

throw the k&n out they are the worst for dusting turbos, many of the other brands are much better at filtering than the k&ns. Propane works good for fuel economy and about 30-50 horse but can be a hassle to fill. I would go with a tow economy chip such as the quadzilla xzt, it will give you about 65 more horse but you can see a 1-3 mpg increase as well. One more thing I would do is to get the killer dowl pin kit as if and when the pin fails it really ruins your day.

bigger exhaust really helps and yah theres lots of chips to look at. They also have water/methanol injection.

I agree with the filter thing you should go with a afe and maybe try a plate for your fuel pump all it does changes the advance rate of your fuel dumping in more fuel making more power. If you a standard trans it will hold up to shitload of torque, that will be the last of your worries. If you plan on doing mods a boost, pyro and oil temp are the basics which should be done before any mods

isnt 97 to old for a chip..they have the mechanical fuel pump in them still...i thought it was about 98 or 98.5 that you can start getting chips for them... im pretty sure of this, my dad has a 97 and we cant get a chip for it.

could be, but you can get a fuel plate which raises the max fuel delivery. same thing a ship does
