I'm too lazy to convert to metric, but one of my '78s gets about 200 miles per tank, with a 429, and sitting on 36" swampers, and my '79 gets almost twice that, with a 351M and on 31s. both have the 33gl tanks

200 miles =300 kilometers

a us gal versus imperial gallon -I cant remeber -a imperial gallon is 4.556 littres and i think a us is about 4.2 littres

Hope this helps :)

And Damm that Trudue liberall government for bringin in the metric system !

ive got a 5.0 in my manual trans f250, i get about 275km to about 60L. Thats with highway and in town, if all highway i could probably pull off 345, if not more. It makes a huge difference if i push it a bit harder talkin off, Huge.

US gallon is only 3.78L.

The car dealers play that for all its worth. MPG ratings in Canada use the Imperial gallon. Inflates the economy figures quite a bit. [16] The Imperial gallon is obsolete in every way (buckets, paint cans, etc) except were it can serve to deceive the public.

I get 300-350km tank on my 7.3L w/4.10 & 31s.

My '85 F350 crew cab 460 can go 200kms on $32 of propane
My '93 Bronco, 351W goes 200kms on $45 worth of gas

even though the price of gas is out to lunch, think about how much you pay for a bottle of water at 7-11:eek:
I wouldn't mind paying more if the gov't would lower the price of[31]
