i am looking into getting the re 3.5 inch superflex kit if i get that kit i would be running 32s. would i be able to run the gears i havew in it i think they are 3.73's or would it be best to find some gears out of a yj 4cyl that are 4.10s? and also would i have much driveshaft vibration with 3.5"s of lift because im not sure if i could afford the slip yoke kit yet. any info is appreciated

You can get away with the gears you have now if you have 3.73s it's not much of a jump to 4.10 anyway so I wouldn't put the money out till you drive it and see if you are alright with it if you aren't then I would shell out for 4.56s then don't bother with the 4.10s.

3.5 in lift you won't NEED a SYE kit you can do the tcase drop (should be included in the lift kit) and be on your way but the SYE is a good idea anyway I would put one in when you can afford it.

this is my daily driver and if i were to get 4.56 gears would the gas milege just be terrible with the 4.0L or not too bad?

It would bring down the highway mileage but wouldn't affect the in town mileage. If it's your daily I wouldn't worry about the gears myself like I said earlier I would do the lift and tires and see how you like it 3.73s and 32s shouldn't be bad.

I have a 4.0 Comanche with an auto trans 33s on it and 4.10s in the difs and with the auto I would have liked 4.56s instead but I put in the 4.10s cause I got them cheap.

I had 4.10's with 33's and a 4 cyl in my old tj and it could go 110 on the freeway. so if you got the 6 cyl. you'll be fine.

i have 4.10 33's and a 4cyl in my YJ and it barley does 110 on the highway.. maybe the speedo is of but its slow lane and 4th gear 90% of the time :( nothing that a 350 swap can't fix

if you have 3:73 gears in your tj chances are it's a dana 44 rear diff. the 4cyl tj's did not have that option. check out the rear diff before throwing it away.
