Well I left for merritt friday to do some camping/fishing/wheeling. I ended up driving around in the forest for 3 hours in the dark trying to find the right lake, and I couldn't find it so back to the highway I went. Unfortunately I was by myself so I couldn't get any good action shots, but here's a few that I took.

This is where i spent the first night.

Here's some shots of saturday at Lundbom lake,

Here's where I did a little exploring in the bushes, can you guess what was under the snow I tried to drive over? ...... If you guessed 2 inches of solid ice then you are corrrect!

I almost slid over the bank so I had to get out and start digging a clear path to dry land, it would have been a long walk back to camp if I slid down the bank.

And here's the snow storm on the coq on the way back,

It was a pretty fun trip, freakin cold and windy but it was good to get out.

I fished lundbom for awhile, and watched other people fish it too and didn't see a single fish, not even a rise or a jump. I headed down to marquart lake, the first one that you hit on the way up the road, and lost 2 nice ones. There was more action going on there for sure.
