ok so i got the 383 for the 90 YJ, i got the D60, 14bolt, t400 and 205 coming in a week or two... so, i need new shocks for my jeep. it has a 6' lift on it and im going spring under, so what should i go for? im going to run 37's. i dont want to spend a huge amout of money but im not going to cheap out. lastly what gears should i be running for 37's?

The Rancho RS9000 cause they are adjustable to suit your preference and I would run 4.56 gears you are gonna have a lot of torque with a 383 so you shouldn't need lower than 4.56 I run 4.56 in mine and have had 39.5 tires on it and still felt OK with the 350 in frt of em

o good, now what should i do for lockers... i dont want to spend a huge amout, i was thinking detroit front and rear?

That would be good choices the detroits are proven and pretty much bullet proof. That is what I will be running soon

How are you gonna be for drivetrain length...? The 383 Th 400 and NP 205 is a long combination i thinkn. I havent' actually ever mesured the Th400 / NP205 but i am running a SM465 and Np 205 and find that it's even a little long. i think my rear driveshaft is only 22" long or something. I have the rear pushed back 2" extra already with a eaton / 14 bolt diff. I am running into problems with driveshaft angle, ect.
Not saying you are gonna have a problem, but it's something to consider for sure.

thanx for the imput, ill have to see what happens... ive already ordered up all the parts so i guess ill just have to wait and see.
