As most of you know we moved our oldest son into Edmonton this past weekend. Long trip....we were going to come back through K-town and hook up with some of the interior folks but... the youngest came down with something(?) so we ended up staying the night in Golden instead of Kelowna... That kinda ended the idea of going to postil. Ah well.... kids come before wheeling!!!

Anyhoot.... here's a few shots to highlight our journey for ya!!

Here's the "Monsto" Loaded to bear.... This was like hauling a parachute!!

They don't call it Beautiful BC for nothing!!

Mount Boobies!!:D

I even let my sweetie drive the truck!!

Mount Robson Park!!!....... Wait a sec..... What's that on his leg??!!??

I wonder who did that!!!:D

Trip wouldn't be complete without a shocker!!

FIBC truck vs. Edmonton truck!!! PALEEZE!!:D
Ran into this one at the FAS GAS in Revelstoke.. Guy said he got it from his uncle... was parked for years....440.. 4 speed... full convert.. nice!

And this one in Kelowna..... Same as mine..... and no... it's not a dually. The flares looked like they were 10 inches wide.... neat looking truck

Long trip.... Thank god for the portable DVD player... I am now officially Sponge Bobbed out!!! Looks like there's gonna be some road trips in our future... was a pretty good trip... a little rushed......but time with the family is always good!!!!

Missed seeing you too Shannon[j] but our youngest(Kassidy) started coughing friday night on the way into edmonton....which didn't surprise me cuz the air is alot dryer up there and she has mild asthma...next day she's coughing even more and then saturday night she was up all night puking...so that's when we decided we probably wouldn't make it to kelowna cuz we were gonna have to take it slow. we didn't even drive through there until like 3 or 4 pm on sunday. took her to the doc's yesterday and she has a chest infection and is now on antibiotics.

we would have loved to get up there and see you again and meet some of the interior gang but it just wasn't possible.

the trip was just a drive, sleep, eat, drive kinda thing anyway....we didn't get to have much fun.:o

Sorry to the Kelowna peeps who were welcoming us with open arms!!!!! [d]
