04-30-2006, 09:01 PM
well i went up to sawmill with my boss from the fly shop and a few fishbc.com members to sawmill lake outside of oliver for a little clean up. we managed to clean up te entire lake and campgrounds gathering over 15 bags of garbage and glass, nails and such. we ended up going just up the raod to ripley lake to do some fishing and one of the guys tore a hole in his tranny cooler so i had to do some repair/rerouting of lines to get him back onthe road unfortinatly i tyhink he needs a new trany causre by the time we got him back to kelowna he only had 1st gear , no reverse,2nd or drive sorry i have to post up a link but they are not my pictures

all in all it was a good day, we are going to be writing a letter to the ministry of forests and sending in some pictures, since thew "caretaker" of the sites is not doing his job no tp in the outhouses and garbage all over hopefully they will appoint another person to do the upkeep of the sites
