Does this make sense? I already have the 20 in my CJ so does it makes sense to use this so I can re-use my gears and Detroit locker? Someone said if you struss the diff then it is stronger then a 44

You will want to replace the axle (so you can sell me the detroit to put in my CJ7).

The Model 20 rear end has a larger ring gear than the D44 and the axle shafts are slightly larger in diameter but the housings are weaker so technically the 20 is stronger if you brace the housing plus the Wag model 20 is already 1 piece axle shafts.

Kev remember that the bolt pattern on the waggy rear is a 6 bolt pattern so you would need to go chevy haf ton outers up front![cheers]
