I hear they do good work but their prices are stupidly high. I got a quote years ago for front diff swap in my Explorer and alsmost fell down at the price they told me

I used to do work for him. (For the life of me I can't remember his name right now). Anyway, he was one of my better customer's until my manager and him had a fight....boy was i embarrassed and pissed!

I just talked to them about my tailgate on my bronco , they say it will, probably cost me 3-$400 to get it to work , is that reasonable or does anyone know someone cheaper , I wanna go topless

I guess you get what you pay for if they do good work.

if that saying were true no one would ever be , over charged on items ,ripped off on work, or given less then what the real value of merchandise is.(icbc, car dealer, tradins etc)
The reality is you are charged what the market will bear and the price will always be high if people are foolish enough to believe that "you get what you pay for"[16] [16] [16] [16]

Dave is not there all that much anymore. They used to be really good when they first opened, but have got REALLY pricey on some items, like telling me the other day that a stock 460 flywheel *used* was gonna cost me $225. Ya right. They still have some stuff that you might not find anywhere else. But you might as well order from dennis carpenter in the states or bronco graveyard for what they want for some things. Just my 2 cents.

Jeff's bronco graveyard has great pricing. not so knowledgeable staff at times.

I got ridiculous quotes on parts from Jobrite. $1000 for a hpd44 for instance.
I won't cast a shadow in there again
