Now I know why everyone say's to upgrade your hardware on the front axle after getting longfields. Fukin broke all 4 steering arm studs and all 6 hub studs in one snap. So no steering no power to one wheel and way the fuk down the trail sucked ass. ARP studs on order

looks fine to me, just turn up the music while you drive and your good to go
i also heard if you run those longfields that you may break the hub gear, and you wont notice it until that side doesnt lock up if you have a locker, then you wreak the splines on the shaft and then your really really fucked

As for the studs, you might be better off (cheaper) to do the d44 stud upgrade to your steering arms. Just need to tap the knuckle a little larger and ream out the arms to the larger d44 cone washers.
For the hubs, you might want to send them out to have another couple dowel pins added.
But at least you just broke the studs and not the hub gear like greg mentioned, b/c that will strip the splines off your longsfields bobby is developing chromo hub gears to fix that problem soon tho
oh and rich, i think he's talking about the 27 or 30 spline chromo longs, not the regular ringed & heat treated ones that you got -- they're not really much stronger than smurfs, and I think Stinky's new O-fields will be equivalent to them

Update, you guy's had me worried bout the spline strippage so it's apart now and the 30 spline Long survived. The axle housing(cracked bearing race), wheel hub, locking hub, knuckle, wheel bearings, knuckle bearings are fuked though. Part of the fun right? Anyone want some 38.5 inch boggers? Never have this many problems when I run the ssr's.
